Anita La Selva’s
statuesque dark looks have made her popular on stage and screen alike in both Canada and the U.S.

 She is a classically trained actress and has worked extensively in theatre with a resume that ranges from Farce and Performance Art to Shakespeare and Greek tragedy. Some of her favorite theatrical roles include Amanda in Private Lives, Elvira in Blithe Spirit, Maria in Lend Me a Tenor, Clytemnestra in the Oresteia, and Goneril in King Lear.
Anita has appeared in numerous television episodic series and movies of the week. She is probably best known for her performance as the alien leader Zo’or in Gene Roddenberry’s television series Earth: Final Conflict, which ran 5 years and is now syndicated globally. You can also catch her as the host of Discovery Channel’s documentary series Future Tense, in episodes of Tek WarKung Fu: the Legend Continues, Secret Service and in various MOWs including Trudeau:The Early Years ( a miniseries about former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau) The Return of Alex Kelly, Mistrial, Spencer: Pale Kings and Princes and Under the Piano to name a few.
This multi-talented performer has also been a member of several professional dance companies including the Esmeralda Enrique Spanish Dance Co., co-written the successful Fringe play Girls in Love be Harlots, taught acting and has been Artistic Director/Producer of two independent theatre companies in Toronto.
